Fernando Flamenco

Recently romantically wounded, James’s dull life is changed forever when he meets Fernando Flamenco and hears his enchanting Spanish Guitar. In order to learn how to live passionately, James interviews Fernando about his life – and specifically, the pursuit of his love, Catalina the dancer, against his best friend/biggest rival, Miles the keyboard player, across continents, cities, and the pop music scene of the 1990s.

Every event in Fernando’s life unlocks a new lesson, and a fascinating new part of his star-crossed comic romance and rivalry. James uses the interview to create a documentary and interviews others to get a fuller understanding of Fernando: celebrities, music historians, and Catalina and Miles themselves. As James puts these lessons to practice with a new love interest he is pursuing, and as Fernando, Miles, and Catalina delve deeper into their pasts, it becomes clear their story isn’t quite over yet. So many years later, and so much more at stake, they must resolve this love triangle once and for all.

Even though they all arrive there differently, the question James, Fernando, Catalina, and Miles must confront in the end is the same: are you ready to be emotionally vulnerable again?

If Fernando is hurt this time, he may lose his passion forever. If he doesn’t try, hasn’t he lost it already?
